How the app protects you
Live face verification
A quick live selfie check is compared with your profile photo, so the person you are talking to is who they say they are.
Verified badge
Members who pass verification carry a badge on their profile, so genuine people are easy to recognise.
Private photos
Photos can stay blurred until you choose to reveal them to someone. Modesty is a setting, not an afterthought.
Report and block
Report or block anyone in a couple of taps. Reports go straight to the Muslim Hearts team for review.
Staying safe while you get to know someone
Take your time
Get to know someone inside the app before you share your number, address or social media.
Never send money
No sincere match will ask you for money, gift cards or crypto. Treat any request as a red flag and report it.
Look for the badge
Prefer verified profiles, and be cautious of anyone who avoids verification or a video call.
Involve your family
When things feel serious, bring in your family or wali. A sincere person will welcome it.
Meet safely
When you meet, choose a public place, tell someone you trust, and keep a chaperone where appropriate.
Report concerns
If anything feels wrong, report it in the app. You will never be told who reported them.
